I recently updated the look of my blog with the help of a website called "Vintage Made For You" I have a button in my sidebar that will take you to their site.
They have really pretty & oldfashioned graphics for one's blog.

What I Wore:: Halston & Sketches in my Sketchbook
Sweater: Halston.------ My Dad bought this sweater for my Mom when they first started dating in 1980- its a for real Halston sweater. My Mom didn't have a lot of clothes- she was REALLY poor & my Dad got her a bunch of swanky clothing that she has passed down to me- well what was left of it. She loved everything so much it basically wore out! I got lucky & got this sweater and some great original concert tees- such as two Bob Seger ones and an original Michael Jackson tour shirt!!! My Dad wasn't rich by any means but he loved my Mom so much he took her shopping & got her these clothes. My Mom still has one black shirt she got years before I was born, that she refuses to get rid of, and she still wears it- only around the house of course. Its ripped and faded but she loves the thing so much! I want it because it would look so grungy cool with a pair of skinny jeans and some flats. But I would never dare steal it from her- she is in love with it.
Well from that lovely story about my sweater to where I got my jeans- Plato's Closet. WOAH, deep.
Shoes: Kohl's- also so deep
Trouser Socks- Target - I love target
Scarf- Plato's Closet- I actually wore this scarf when I went to NYC & to Strawberry Fields where I left a peace sign for John Lennon. I drew it on a piece of red paper and then folded it into a crane and left it in the middle of the peace sign in Strawberry Fields- and I crossed it off of my life bucket list. That was an experience that was beautiful & I will never forget it.

Fisherman Sweater & A New Haircut
I found this oversize yet amazingly amazing fisherman's sweater at savers, and snatched it up! I love fisherman sweaters & now I own two- yay! BUT I WANT MORE! they are an addiction honestly.
I paired it with leggings and smoking slippers & got a bagillion compliments that day. The next day... I got my hair cut! It is now assymetrical and fabulous- not exactly very Victorian but very fun, I am really enjoying my new do :)
So here are my clothing details:
Fisherman sweater- Savers
leggings-walmart
slippers-Bon Ton
then:
Grey Hoodie- Harajuku Lovers by Gwen Stefani from Plato's Closet
Jeans- Plato's Closet
shoes- walmart
scarf- gift, its actually a vintage advertisement for a Pink Floyd Album- from the 80's. I don't know why they made a "flag" for the advertisement but hey, I'm sure glad they did because I now have an awesome scarf!
