What I wore & Betty's Restaurant
Top: Goodwill
Skirt: Plato's Closet
Locket: Graduation from High School Gift- I always wear it!
Shoes- plain black flats I wear obsessively from Wal-Mart, they remind me of the simple Repetto flats without the debt.
I love going to thrift stores, 90% of my wardrobe I get from them. You don't have to spend tons of money to look cute, also if you shop at a thrift store you're doing good by the planet & donating to them = some good karma ;)
Rant rant rant but it's something I believe in.
Betty's was delicious. I had a breakfast sandwich & chocolate bailey's cake. That cake was damn fine. If you get a chance to get to Betty's, order this cake.
Afterwards we went to Tift Nature Preserve, where we saw the new bat sculpture & a nest filled with baby birdies!

Buffalo,NY Garden Walk 2012
My city holds a garden walk each year, it's a beautiful & peaceful way to explore the city of Buffalo, and get inspiration.
I've gone on the walk for years with my Ma & her best friend of over 40 years, Pat. this year since Pat is sick I invited my friend Jess. I was so happy she wanted to come along!
She was so much fun to be with & my Ma & her got along smashingly, it was a great day!!
Of course I took TONS of pictures per usual, even though my hair was ridiculous I couldn't resist taking selfies.
Buffalo has so many beautiful homes & gardens- not just snow!
There was a man from Catholic Health- a company that has many hospitals in the area-handing out free orange sherbet from his bicycle cart! Also many businesses were giving away free flower seed packets, so Buffalo can grow even more beautiful gardens.
We ate at the Quaker Bonnet, a terrific soup & sandwich place- I got a veggie sandwich with avocado in place of cheese. It was so fresh & delicious!
After the walk we stopped at the Erie Canal Harbor Wharf, or the wharf, however you may say it & got some ice cream from Clinton's Ditch & sat by the water to eat it.
When we got home Jess & I watched Gillmore Girls & my Ma got us tacos as a special treat for Jess! She hardly had ten since she's the only one at home who likes them. We blew tons of bubbles after dinner & had some girl talk time.
Such a great day!!
All my pics were taken with my iPhone & without any filters.
