Okay, so I am a HUGE fan of Doctor Who, and I was reluctant to watch the episode last night because I am such a big fan of Rory & Amy. Who is this new companion I thought, she's not cool. I was wrong. Amy & Rory are forever first in my two hearts, but Clara Oswin Osgood is pretty boss.
First, is she a ghost? An alien? An Immortal? How does she keep dying & re-appearing in different times? I'm betting on Ghost just because that would be so amazingly splendiferous, a ghost companion!
Also, did anyone else notice how the Doctor had more human emotions? He was sulking over the Ponds- as was I- and he said that "The Universe Owes Me!" and he would find Clara, because, gasp! he seemed to be romantically interested in her! He was almost selfish with how he was thinking about her & about his own life. Much as a human would be after they lost loved ones. I'm very interested to see how the Doctor's new outlook on life develops over the new season.
Personally, I think it'd be good for him to finally get a girl again, it was so sad when he had to break up with Rose, he deserves a woman- who seems to live a very long time as he does, so he can actually be with her without her aging & him never aging ither. I mean, Clara always looks the same! So young, I believe they would make an excellent match! She's very adventurous and strong- and I think even though the Doctor views her as someone to almost " keep" as a companion, I think she could straighten out his view of her.
I am always going to miss Amy & Rory but Clara Oswin Osgood seems pretty cool. I mean the closing shot, of her in modern times standing by her old Victorian grave- EPIC!!

What I Wore::Dr.Who
Fish fingers & custard please! R.I.P. Amy Pond & Rory Williams- you two will forever be my favorite companions.
My outfit the other day was inspired by them. Also figured I'd show off my studio a little!
Top: Hot Topic
Jeans: Kohl's
Flats: Walmart

These are my new paintings!

Me looking at one of my works in progress, I'm excited about this one.

Home sweet other home.

My view is AMAZING!!!

My old ceramics teacher was THROWING OUT these cute little vases- how wasteful! I dug em out of the trash and saved them & now I use em for my incense & to hold pieces for my paintings.

Cupcakes & Coffee for lunch
My Ma & I had lunch at Firefly in East Aurora. It's a restaurant that has delicious cupcakes & coffee!
We went to Vidler's & walked around to different stores. We got Poco a little bed & my Ma got me a mushroom ornament for our tree this Christmas! Such a fun day :)
I drew a bunch of pictures of George Harrison in my sketchbook & got some awesome plastic animals, mints, a peanut eraser & a new Schaffer pen.
Vidler's is awesome.

Blog Posts I'm Loving
Nail Polish Storage by Cupcake's Clothes
Georgina's room is so pretty & feminine, as is her personal style! I wish I had the time to make my room as personalized as she has with her room.
Knee Highs & Bubble Tea by Missing Lovebirds
Her style is so great! I'm digging her knee highs- I love wearing them also- and her cute orange dress. Not to mention the fact that she got to explore an Asian market & drink some bubble tea. I love food from different countries and I've always wanted to try bubble tea. I can do so vicariously through her post.
Hayden Flour Mill by Tea Talk
Her outfit reminds me of Peter Rabbit & old buildings are always fascinating. Enough said.

Day off with my dog
My dog, Poco is my best friend. He is a chihuahua that's rather inquisitive & very silly.
I had the day off with him & after playing fetch with him I decided on a whim to look up a homemade dog treat recipe. I found a simple one at this link: http://www.bullwrinkle.com/Assets/Recipes/Peanut%20Butter%20Puppy%20Poppers.htm
There are only a few ingredients & I had all of them. I made the dough and was surprised at how many treats I got out of it! I made them wee so they could easily be chewed by my little dog. Still I think if someone made them for a large dog they would still get lots of treats.
As I was baking them my whole house smelled like peanut butter cookies- my mouth was literally watering over the smell of dog treats- hilarious I thought. So if they smelled this good I figured Poco would love them!!!
Also as they were baking I decided to take a picture of my Poe next to a can of baking spray- to show his size & pretend he was helping me. He seemed to like it, and he was sniffing like a mad man so I think he was loving the smell of the treats as much as I was.
The recipe said to bake them for 20 minutes but I did for only 15 & they came out good. They looked like peanut butter cookies for little elves!!
I put them on a dinner plate to cool, rather than leaving them on the hot baking sheet. They felt very puffy with a slight crunchiness- perfect for Poco!
I could squish them slightly with my finger so I knew they would be easy for him to eat.
The biscuits were a hit!!! Poco loved them & I loved baking them.
