Little creepy seedlings

I've decided to name my wee collages I make out of scraps & bits I collect & turn into inspiration art "Little Creepy Seedlings" since they plant ideas in my brain for bigger weirder art.

Lake Erie

Found these items of inspiration on the beach today:
Fossils
Bones
Feathers
Decaying fish.
I love how the flash on a camera makes everything a little creepier!
The pointy white object amongst the feathers is a bird's beak I think. I'm not a bone expert but it looks like one. Whatever it happens to be it's bleached by the sun & very interesting to look at.
I also found a large bone in a crevice in the shale cliffs on the beach. It was bleached white & had started to form a pearl like sheen on it. I was unsure as to what it was from or why it was stuck in the crevice so I decided to leave the unsettling find alone.
There were many dead fish, which is natural, but today they were especially big. I saw one that was 3 feet in length! ichthyophobia at its highest.
I had a great time & acquired some interesting objects to add to my inspiration collection.

Bonfire

Lightning comes and lightning goes
And it's all the same to me
Let it in 'cause I want you so
I can hardly breathe and release

Into one thousand pieces
I have broke into, over you
Nightshade will soon be gone
But I keep burning on and on and on

Self portraits

I'm a camera ham & self portraits are one of the most traditional subjects. By melding this traditional subject matter with the new technology of my iPhone I am going to create a series of self portraits. I enjoy working with non traditional mediums & my iPhone is deffinately not a traditional medium by any means.
I also enjoy the unique style of photography used by fashion bloggers, and fashion is a passion of mine.

Horehound

My screen print entitled Horehound. I stick with random images that tied back to the Victorian era, rather than having anything to do specifically with each other. I chose bright colors because for the images they were unexpected & pretty fun to work with. This is my favorite screen print I have done.

You're on the right path in life

I was told a native American legend when I was little by my friend that finding a feather is a sign that you're on the right path in life. Since then I've accumulated a large feather collection & have enjoyed photographing birds & anything to do with them.
These are just a few pictures.

Paint

My finished paintings.

Working away

My newest canvas is as tall as me! Excited to get it done.
